I recently received an estimate for landscaping my front and back yards totaling $8100. The plan includes planting 40 plants and grasses in the back, featuring 7 hydrangeas, and 30 plants in the front with a weeping cherry and Japanese maple. Both yards will also have mulch beds installed. Although I've got a detailed list of what will be planted, I don't have any visualization of how it will all look once installed. I'm feeling hesitant about spending this amount on something I won't see until after it's done. I've tried reaching out for other estimates, but so far, no one has responded to my calls.

I recommend getting a landscape designer to create a visual plan for you before you decide. They can also help you find reliable installers. It's essential to see how everything will fit together, especially for such a big investment.
Actually, $8100 seems like a reasonable price, especially compared to what I've seen. I would have estimated around $9000 or even $10,000 for similar work; it sounds like a fair deal to me!
Honestly, this price is a steal in my area. I’m on a schedule with a landscaper for a smaller project, and I’m paying more! It's strange that so many businesses aren’t returning calls—maybe they’re just really busy right now! Glad I can do some DIY stuff or I’d be waiting forever!
Right? It’s spring, and everyone is trying to get things done after winter!

Yeah, I agree. It does sound a bit low for all that work.
