Is $850 a Good Price for a Supermax 32-16?

I'm considering buying a Supermax 32-16 that's lightly used for $850. I've noticed that prices for these machines have shifted over the last 5-6 years. Is this a good deal?

If this model includes the electronic feature that adjusts the feed rate for deeper cuts, then yeah, it’s likely a good buy!

I used to have one, and I sold mine for around that price too. Honestly, it took a while to get used to it—figuring out the right amount to sand and dealing with the belt misalignment got frustrating. Ultimately, I switched back to my Festool random orbit sander. Just something to think about before you decide!

Right, I plan to use it more for flattening larger pieces instead of finishing work. Might be different for my needs!

Yeah, that price seems solid for a lightly used Supermax 32-16! It's a good deal if everything's in decent shape.
