Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on a quote I received in Houston, TX. A highly rated contractor offered me $17,000 for a project that includes 700 square feet of Belgard pavers, 400 square feet of river rocks or black gravels, and around 20 pieces of 24" pavers for a center walkway. This price covers installation and the removal of grass. Do you think this estimate is reasonable? Thanks for any input you can provide!

Honestly, your quote does seem a bit high compared to what I've seen in other places, like Central NC, where the paver prices are usually lower. Black river rock has gotten pretty pricey too, so that adds to the cost. Just keep that in mind when comparing prices!
I suggest getting a couple more quotes to really get an idea of the market around you. It's hard for anyone to say if it's a good deal without knowing all the specifics of your project, so getting a few others can't hurt!
