I own 4.3 acres that includes my house and a tenants' house, plus I'm planning to create several garden beds. I received a 20V edger as a gift and I'm wondering if it will be enough power for all the edging I need to do. I have a long driveway and parking lot and I'm estimating I'll need to run the edger for about 1 to 3 hours. Since most of my tools are gas-powered, I'm not too enthusiastic about switching to battery-powered equipment. Would this 20V model work, or should I consider asking for a return?

With that much land, I’d really recommend looking into the 60V model instead. It offers more power and gives you the option to use other attachments in the future. It’s definitely worth considering if you plan to do a lot of edging!
I get that gas tools are tried and true, but try the 20V first. It’s not as powerful, sure, but for just getting started with battery tools, it might surprise you. If you find it's not cutting it, you can always upgrade to a 60V later on. Just keep an open mind!
Honestly, edging with a 20V seems a bit risky given your acreage. I think you'd be much happier with a more powerful tool. If you're feeling adventurous, this edger could give you a taste of battery freedom, but think about investing in a couple of batteries if you want to make it work!
Thanks for the input! I’m definitely considering giving it a try before deciding on an upgrade.
