Is a Milwaukee 12V Sawzall Good for Cutting Wooden Boards with Nails?

Hey everyone! I have a set of 12V Milwaukee cordless tools, and I'm looking to get a Sawzall that fits this system. I need to cut through some 2x2 wood boards used for framing an aviary, and I think there might be nails or screws involved. Do you think the Milwaukee 12V reciprocating saw with a demolition blade would do the trick? I'm leaning towards cordless since there's no power outlet easily accessible in my backyard, but I could use an extension cord if the 12V saw isn't powerful enough. No pun intended!

The blade choice is super important! I own the Fuel version of the M12 Sawzall, and with the right blade, it cuts through anything. For wood without metal, I love using a pruning blade. If there’s metal involved, the Wrecker blades are a must. You'll be fine with the M12 as long as you get good blades!

Yeah, I'm definitely looking to get M12 tools. I want everything to be compatible and cordless to avoid the hassle. Thanks for sharing!

I've had the Hackz'all M12 pre-fuel version for over seven years. It’s great for wood, metal, PVC, and even cutting tree limbs! Just make sure to have a variety of blades and a few extra batteries, and you'll be set for any project.

You cut catalytic converters too? That's interesting! Thanks for the tip!
