Is a Paint Sprayer Worth It for My Cedar Siding Project?

I'm in the middle of repainting the siding on my old farmhouse, which features 4" bevel cedar boards and a narrow 2.5" reveal. Priming has already been a slow process, and I'm starting to think that maybe this is why these narrower boards fell out of favor. I'm planning to paint everything white, including the eaves, siding, and window trim, and I'm wondering if I should switch to a paint sprayer instead of sticking to my brush, or if that might turn into a disaster for someone who's inexperienced like me.

Definitely go for a sprayer! A decent one is only about $100, and it saved me tons of time when I stained my deck. You won’t regret making the switch!

Cool, I was thinking about staining my deck too! Sounds like a great investment.
