Is a Quarter-Inch Gap on a Shower Flange Hub a Dealbreaker?

I have a 2-inch ABS pipe and I'm trying to install a shower flange hub on top of it. I trimmed the pipe to get the height right, but I ended up with a quarter-inch gap on one side because I accidentally cut a bit deeper than intended. The hub fits over an inch of the pipe, but I'm wondering if that 3/4-inch coverage on the gap is sufficient. The cut is jagged but the rest of the flange is mostly fitting well. This is above the water line except when showering. Should I be worried about this, or can I just go ahead and glue it as is?

Honestly, it should be fine! Once you prime and glue it, that gap shouldn't cause major issues. Just make sure everything is aligned correctly when you put it together.
