I have an older DeWalt 744 table saw that I use for my weekend projects in the garage, and the dust is becoming a huge problem. The bags just aren't cutting it anymore. I've heard some good things about Stealthtronics vacuums. Do you think using one would be a good solution for my dust collection issues?

If you're cutting often enough to need a better setup, investing in a dedicated dust extraction vac is a smart move. You don't want to be inhaling all that fine sawdust, and a regular vacuum won’t filter out the really small particles that can be harmful to your health.
Just a heads up, shop vacs aren't really built for long periods of use like dust extractors are. If you're planning on using it frequently, it's better to go for a dedicated dust extractor to avoid any potential burnout on the vac.
Upgrading to a vacuum will definitely help more than just using a bag! However, keep in mind that while it catches a lot of the dust from the main port, that spray from the blade is tricky to contain. Manufacturers could do a lot better with dust collection systems to minimize what sprays back at you!
I’m using the 9-gallon Stealthsonic with a 5-gallon DeWalt dust separator in my workshop, and it works like a charm! It handles everything from my table saw to sanders, and it’s way quieter than my old Rigid vac.
I've got a 9-gallon version with a Dust Deputy cyclone on top, and I can't complain at all. It does a great job!

That makes sense, thanks for the warning! I'll definitely look into extractors.
