I'm diving into my first vegetable garden this year with cucumbers, green beans, and cherry tomatoes. However, we've been hit with non-stop rain for days here in upstate NY, and I'm really worried about the impact on my plants. My cherry tomatoes have started blooming, and the green beans are showing some flowers too. The cucumbers are just sitting there with leaves. Will all this rain be the end of my plants? What should I do? I'm really hoping they make it through! ?

I totally feel you! I had a week of heavy rain and my plants survived okay, except for my garlic that didn’t make it. If your plants don’t have good drainage, you might want to cover them up, but otherwise, just let nature handle it for now.
From my experience, tomatoes can bounce back pretty well, even if they look a bit stunted now. Once the warmth returns, they'll start growing again!
I share your worry! Some of my plants are starting to show signs of blight too. Maybe next year I’ll get some covers or even a polytunnel to help with the rain!
Ah, I’m right there with you! It’s cold and rainy my way too, and honestly, it's rough. I haven’t seen the sun in days either. Let's hope for a break soon to at least give our plants a fighting chance.
As long as your soil drains well, I think your plants will be alright. Just keep an eye on them!
