Is Blown-In Insulation a Good Investment for an Old Home?

I'm living in an old house that has no insulation at all. It used to have lathe and plaster, but now it just has drywall. I've heard a lot about blown-in insulation recently, and I'm curious about whether it's worth the investment and how expensive it can be. Any insights or experiences would be really helpful!

You should definitely check if your state has any incentives for insulation. I had my entire house insulated—both the attic and walls—for less than $5k. It was totally worth it!

If you pick up 10 bags of fiberglass insulation from Home Depot, they actually let you rent the blower for free. It's a great way to save on costs if you're planning to do it yourself!

Haha, I appreciate the tip! But if I just found out about blown-in insulation, I might not be the best candidate to blow anything for free!
