Is Bottom Watering Good for My Snake Plant?

Hey everyone! I recently got a snake plant, specifically the Sansevieria trifasciata 'Golden Futura', and I didn't receive any care instructions with it. I've heard these guys are pretty easy to take care of, so I'm curious if I can bottom water it. Is that a good idea for this type of plant?

Yeah, bottom watering should work just fine for your snake plant! Just make sure you don't let it sit in water for too long, or you might risk root rot. The key is having soil that drains well and dries out quickly after you water. You won't need to water it often, just let the top inches of the soil dry out before adding more water.

Totally! The cashier told me to water it every two weeks or so, so that sounds about right.
