Since I started gardening, I've found myself checking the weather forecast several times a day! I'm even thinking about getting a rain gauge and a weather station. Is anyone else feeling super focused on the weather because of their gardening?

Yes! I recommend checking out cocorahs.org for a rain gauge and app. It's a great way to track rainfall and become part of citizen science. It's crucial for avoiding overwatering or underwatering your plants!
Absolutely! I've become way more weather-aware since I took up gardening. Here in the rainiest state, I always keep an eye on whether I should water my plants or let Mother Nature take care of it. I definitely want to avoid overwatering!
Since I moved, I've also become super attentive to the weather, especially on windy days. If it's blowing more than 30 km/h, I usually skip gardening because it makes things a hassle. If it hits over 60 km/h, I try to protect lighter pots from flying away, but thankfully, I haven't lost anything yet!
It's definitely become a part of my life! I've been tracking the weather for over 20 years, especially during the growing season in summer. In winter, when it's around -35°C, I hardly look away from the forecast either, haha!
For sure! Just remember not to expect too much from your plants during those chilly May days here in Central Europe.

Thanks for the tip! Sounds like a fun way to get involved while keeping track of my plants' needs.
