Hey everyone! I've been wondering if planting hot peppers directly in the ground is a complete waste of time. Are grow bags really the only viable option, or can I achieve decent yields from ground planting? I'd love to hear your experiences and insights!

Growing peppers in the ground has worked wonders for me as long as I've got good sandy soil and full sun. They're not picky as long as you give them what they like! Plus, if you're looking to save your peppers for next season, pots or bags might be the way to go, but don't overlook the ground!
Not at all! I've had amazing success growing my peppers in raised beds, and they thrive with proper care. The soil quality really matters, and if you manage that well, you can get great harvests!
Definitely not a waste! I've grown habaneros and other super hots in the ground with fantastic yields. Sure, grow bags give you flexibility for moving plants indoors, but if you're careful with moisture and soil quality, planting in the ground can work wonderfully too. Just start your peppers early!
