Is Growing Sorrel Indoors Possible?

Asked By GardenGnome99 On

I've got a bunch of sorrel seeds left over from my outdoor plants, and I'm really curious if I can grow them indoors during the winter in small planters. Can this work? How easy is it for someone like me, who doesn't have much gardening experience?

Growing sorrel indoors can be tricky because it needs a lot of light. You'll want to invest in some strong grow lights since regular indoor lighting usually won't cut it. If you have a bright spot by a big window, that might help, but generally, sorrel thrives with high light levels to really do well. So, keep that in mind!

What if you put it next to a big balcony window? Would that help with light?
