I'm curious about the new Hexon heating technology in heated gear. I currently have a Milwaukee heated coat that's about 5 years old, and while it's nice, the heating function hasn't impressed me. I've heard that hoodies and vests are better since they fit closer to the body and you can feel the heat more directly. Now that the upcoming Pipline '25 will feature Hexon heating in their hoodies, I'm wondering if I should grab one, or if it's smarter to get last year's model on discount. For anyone who's tried both older models of the vests or jackets and the new Hexon versions, does the new technology really make a big difference? Or is it more or less the same as before?

I had the older hoodie for a few years before switching to the Hexon vest. The vest is definitely my favorite because it fits snugger and traps the heat better. I can layer a thicker jacket on top without losing warmth, and honestly, it heats up quicker than the old hoodie did. It feels like sitting by a fireplace!
I can confirm the vest is a game-changer; I feel so cozy in mine!
I used the Hexon hoodie last winter in temperatures as low as -25C, and honestly, I would have paid way more for it! It made the cold so much more bearable. Definitely worth it if you're in a colder climate.
Sounds like I need to ditch my old gear and make an upgrade before winter hits!
No joke, if you spend a lot of time outside in the cold, the investment is totally justifiable!

That sounds amazing! I might just have to snag the vest instead!
