Is Home Depot’s Bad Customer Service Making You Think About Leaving Milwaukee?

I've been having a really tough time with Home Depot in Milwaukee lately. Every time I run out of tools and need something quickly, I face this dilemma: either drive much further to find a different store or spend ages waiting for help at Home Depot. Just last night, I waited for 40 minutes for someone to assist me before giving up and going to a different store. I'm starting to wonder if it's just my local store or a bigger issue, but honestly, I value my time way more than the brand of tools I buy. Has anyone else thought about switching stores or even moving out of Milwaukee because of this experience?

I totally get your frustration! It feels like every big tool store is a letdown these days. I've sworn off Lowe's too because of their terrible service. Honestly, for quick needs, I find that smaller hardware stores can really come through. They're often more reliable than the big boxes, and the service is almost always way better.

I think this problem is pretty common across Home Depots everywhere. Just because you depend on Milwaukee tools shouldn't mean you have to tolerate unreliable service from their biggest distributor. I hear ya! I’ve seen a noticeable decline in their customer service over the past few years as well. It's crazy how long you can end up waiting just to get help. But for what it's worth, I do find that ordering online for pickup can save some time if you plan ahead. It’s still a pain, though.
