Is Home Depot’s Dewalt Takeover Driving You Crazy?

I just visited my local Home Depot in St. Louis, and it feels like Dewalt has completely taken over the store! I'm used to the comfort of seeing all that black and red, but now it's overwhelming black and yellow everywhere. Has anyone else noticed this shift at their local HD?

I can totally relate! This also happened at my Home Depot in Texas. My Milwaukee section got completely scattered and it just looks sad now.

Yeah, my HD went through a similar makeover. They switched around the aisles, and now DeWalt and Ryobi dominate the power tools, while Milwaukee's having to share space with a bunch of other brands. It’s all over the place!

I wish Lowe's would stock Milwaukee tools more. Honestly, I dislike shopping at Home Depot these days because of this switch.

This seems to happen every few months. I spoke to a Milwaukee rep at my local HD today, and he said it’s part of their strategy to rotate which brands are more prominently displayed to avoid favoritism. They don’t really have a schedule for it though.

Nice, thanks for the inside info! That makes sense.

Funny you mention that! I had to go to Lowe's just to find the Dewalt shop vac I wanted last week.
