I'm new to no dig gardening and wondering if I can use coco coir to stretch my bagged compost further. I know coir doesn't provide many nutrients, but I plan to mix it with compost and add some homemade worm castings. I'm also considering adding perlite and my own compost, but I'm worried about potential weed growth. Will this mix work well for my garden?

I've actually tried this with my pepper plants recently. I found they do dry out a bit faster, so make sure to keep an eye on the watering. So far, they're growing well with the coir mixed in, but just be prepared for a little extra maintenance!

Are your peppers in pots or in the ground? That might affect how quickly they dry out.
