Is It Common for Contractors to Leave Grout in Your Yard?

So, my contractor decided to dump leftover grout in my backyard while working on my kitchen remodel. Is this kind of behavior typical, or should I be concerned? And what's the best way to deal with the grout now that it's in my grass and soil?

I had a similar situation. It might not be a disaster; rain could wash it away over time. But if it’s really bothering you, giving it a good rinse with a hose might help out.

True, but keep an eye on it. If it doesn’t clear up, you might need to have a more serious cleanup.

No way, that’s really unprofessional! You should definitely ask them to come back and clean it up. It won’t take long for them to fix their mistake.

Yeah, I agree! It’s just common courtesy for them to take care of it since it’s their mess.

Honestly, this is pretty rude. There should definitely be a conversation beforehand about what happens with leftovers. Make sure they know to take their waste with them next time!
