Is It Mold or Mycelium on My Tradescantia?

I have this gorgeous bubblegum tradescantia plant that I've been nurturing for a while now, and I'm starting to worry. I noticed something on it and can't tell if it's mold or mycelium. Either way, how can I save my plant? It was just a little gift from my best friend, and it's grown so much! I really need some help here—thanks in advance! P.S. I've added some photos in the comments for reference.

Mold is one type of fungus while mycelium is just the web-like structure that fungi form under the soil. It's normal for soil fungus to show up in different forms, like mycelium or even mushrooms sometimes, and generally, they're harmless. What matters more is what's causing the fungal growth—usually, it's too much moisture in the soil. By the way, what you’re seeing might just be mineral deposits.

I think my pot might be too tight in another pot, so there’s not enough room for airflow underneath. Could that be an issue?

Great point about the water! I usually do a bottom soak too, but maybe I've been overdoing it. Should I add more soil around the base of the stems? Appreciate the help!
