Is it okay to bury tall succulents when repotting?

Hey everyone! I was recently repotting some of my succulents and a few of them were pretty tall. To keep them from looking floppy, I ended up burying part of the stems. Has anyone else done this? I'm wondering if it's a good idea or if it might harm the plants in the long run.

It's generally not recommended to bury the stem of your succulents, as this can increase the risk of rot. Of course, there are exceptions like Fenestraria 'Baby's Toes', which can handle a bit of soil on top. If you've got a leggy plant, it might be better to cut it and propagate the stem instead! Also, consider whether the plant's stretching is due to insufficient light.
