Is it okay to hold joints by hand while gluing?

I'm working on some projects with unusual angles, and I'm wondering if it's acceptable to just manually hold the pieces together while the glue sets for about 10 minutes. These joints won't be under significant weight, so would this method actually work, or should I consider additional techniques?

You might also want to consider making a simple jig that can help hold those angles properly, especially if you're working on more than one piece. It's basically a frame to keep everything aligned and steady while the glue dries.

Holding the pieces by hand can be tricky because you might accidentally shift them. Using blue tape or rubber bands for a more secure grip will yield better results. If you're in a pinch, you could even use a nail gun to tack things into place temporarily!

Using masking tape is a super easy solution! Just wrap it around the pieces to keep them in place while the glue dries, and it works like a charm.
