So I accidentally drilled a hole too large for my bolts when mounting my TV, and I quickly fixed it by drilling another hole with the right size. However, I only have one top left hole without a stud because it's a shorter wall and there isn't a stud in the right place anymore. Is it still safe to use a drywall anchor for this hole, given that three other bolts are properly anchored in the studs?

You can definitely go with the one anchor, especially since you have three good screws in studs already. Just make sure that it's rated for your TV's weight. I once hung a 55-inch TV using just four drywall anchors and it was perfectly fine, but if in doubt, you might want to look into using good quality toggle anchors!
I had a similar experience and used toggle bolts with no issues. Just remember to check the weight rating!
I'd suggest using a toggle bolt instead of just a regular drywall anchor. Since 75% of your TV mount is secured to the studs, you should be in a good position overall. You might be able to even skip the fourth screw altogether if the others are well anchored, but just to be safe, a toggle would help distribute the weight better!
I did something similar once, and the toggle bolted hold was surprisingly strong! Just be careful not to overdo it and damage your wall.
That's definitely a strong option. I once saw a video that recommended using toggles when you can't hit a stud. They can really handle some serious weight!
I totally agree! Just as long as the anchor is up to the task and the other screws are solid, you’re in good shape.
