Is it possible to replant baby parsnips after winter?

I still have some parsnips I harvested last fall, including some small ones that have been sprouting leaves in my fridge. They're not quite big enough to eat, ranging from the size of a bean seed to a baby carrot. Now that the ground has thawed, I'm wondering if I can replant these baby parsnips. Will they just bolt right away without growing larger, or is there a chance they'll develop further?

Yeah, I've heard that these small parsnips are likely to bolt if you replant them, especially since they've been in the fridge for a while. Bolting usually happens when plants get stressed or don't get enough sun. But it's not a total loss; it might depend on how long they've had a chance to grow before winter. If they were struggling before the cold hit, they might bolt sooner.

I've had parsnips and carrots overwinter and not bolt in some cases, but it's hit or miss. If they were growing strong for a good part of summer and just got stunted, they might surprise you! It can really depend on their conditions.
