I recently got an OPUES Mega 1 solar generator for my shed, which I'm planning to connect with a couple of solar panels. I'd like to charge my ride-on lawnmower's battery using a trickle charger, but I'm curious if I can do this without relying on the generator's inverter. I'm trying to avoid using the inverter due to concerns about efficiency and possible timeouts. I searched for a USB-powered trickle charger, but didn't find any suitable options. Any suggestions?

You might want to consider getting an MPPT charge controller. It would allow you to wire directly to the battery without using the generator’s inverter at all. This way, you can efficiently charge your battery without any issues related to using the inverter.
Instead of using your generator setup, you could look into a dedicated solar trickle charger that comes with its own panel. That way, you have a simple solution for your battery charging needs right at the shed.

I appreciate the suggestion! I really want to consolidate everything into a single solar system for the shed, even if it takes a bit more effort upfront.
