I'm considering buying a DCW600B Router on eBay. There are plenty of sellers with near 100% positive feedback claiming they've sold over 100 of these routers. I know Dewalt won't honor warranties unless it's from an authorized dealer, but I'm tempted because it's about $100 cheaper than the big box stores. I've been upgrading my tools to Dewalt and I have extra FlexVolt batteries, so I'm unsure if taking the eBay route is a good idea. What do you think?

Be careful with eBay—there are factory outlet stores for some brands, but lots of listings could be selling counterfeit or stolen goods. Definitely do some research on Dewalt counterfeits before you commit. I’ve seen posts before where people found out their drills or batteries were fakes!
I've noticed that router popping up in BOGO (buy one, get one) deals lately. If you really need another tool or some batteries, it might be worth it to grab one and get the router for virtually free, along with the full warranty. But hey, it's just my two cents!
I already have three 6Amp FlexVolt batteries for my tools, so I'm not looking for more. Just a DIY-er here!
I haven’t really seen many counterfeit routers out there, though it’s always a possibility. I’ve bought batteries and tools from bundles before when I just needed one item. Just ensure the seller has good reviews, and you should be okay! I think the warranty is still valid based on the manufacturing date as long as you keep everything sealed.
I contacted the seller, and he’s checking the manufacturing date for me. He’s got a good vibe, not just some random seller with weird products!

I checked, and there are no factory outlets on eBay for Dewalt. Thanks for the heads up!
