I've been using Milwaukee Tools for a while now and absolutely love them. They're known for their quality, and I can't help but notice they've become trendy in tool collections lately. Recently, I picked up some tools from a "blue" store, and so far, everything has checked out. I've heard that some folks are taking advantage of Home Depot sales, buying tools, and then reselling the parts they don't want for a markup of around $10. Has anyone else experienced this? I've managed to get M12 batteries at a much better price than the usual Home Depot deals. What do you all think?

You should check out Facebook Marketplace! People often sell those batteries or tools they don’t want for way less than retail—like 50% to 75% off. It's a great place to find deals on Milwaukee gear.
I guess the 'blue' store you're talking about is Lowe's? Honestly, reselling what you don't need is a win-win for everyone. If people are returning items and getting a good deal, then why not? But typically, it helps to check that the tools are genuine if you're buying from a third party.
Totally, but just be careful with sellers. I heard Walmart has strict rules about third-party selling so it's not as common there.
I totally get it! If someone wants to resell what they don’t need, that's their choice. I’m the same way, though I don't usually deal with Milwaukee stuff. Just last week, I got three brand new 5.0 M12 batteries from an eBay seller who got a bunch from Home Depot but didn't need extras. Ended up paying only $110 for the lot—great deal!

Absolutely! I once bought a brand new M12 cutoff tool there—came in the box with all the accessories. Best deal ever!
