I'm curious about how many of you enjoy a couple of beers while woodworking. What are some precautions or things I should avoid doing in the shop if I decide to have a drink? I recently had a few while listening to music and applying some Polyurethane and it got me thinking about safety.

Honestly, I don't even take a single sip in the shop. I really value my fingers, eyes, and other body parts! I don’t want to end up like the Black Knight from Monty Python.
I've got a personal rule: no power tools or anything sharp while drinking. One tiny mistake, and it's game over for your fingers. Just wait until you're done, then you can crack open a cold one!

For sure! And if you’ve never seen your own bones, trust me, it’s not a good time—better to keep it safe.
