Is it Safe to Plant Tomatoes in the Greenhouse During Cooler Nights?

Hey everyone! I'm in Yorkshire and my tomato plants are getting pretty big. With the weather warming up during the day, I'm thinking about moving them into bigger pots in the greenhouse. My concern is the nighttime temperatures, which are still pretty low—around 6 or 7 degrees Celsius, and rising to 8 next week. Will they be alright if I plant them now?

Ours have been in for about 10 days up in NE Derbyshire and they're doing well. Just make sure to cover them if it gets too cold at night!

Have you been using anything to cover them at night? It can help retain some heat!

I planted mine out about two weeks ago and they've been thriving! So I'd say go for it, just keep an eye on the night temperatures.

They should be just fine in the greenhouse with those night temps! Greenhouses can provide a good buffer against the chill, especially if the days are warm.
