I recently purchased a house that has a sealed and insulated attic, which also houses the air handler. However, I've discovered there's a vent or hole intentionally cut out that connects a bedroom closet to the attic. I'm curious if it's okay to seal this hole up. Any advice?

It sounds a bit strange to have a hole from the closet to the attic. What size and shape is it? If it's just a small opening and not tied to any ventilation system, you might be okay to seal it. Just make sure it won't disrupt your heating or cooling setup. Sharing a picture would really help get more specifics!
Before you decide to seal that vent, it's important to know if it's connected to any ductwork. Does your bedroom closet have a supply or return vent leading to the attic? If yes, sealing it could affect your home's airflow and comfort levels. If it's just an open hole, though, sealing it might help with insulation and energy efficiency.
