Is it Safe to Stack a Bigger Dryer on a Smaller Washing Machine?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to stack a new dryer (LG RH90V9AV3N) on top of my existing washing machine (LG F4WR3511S0W). The dryer is 600x850x660, while the washing machine is 600x850x565. Since side-by-side placement isn't an option due to the layout of my laundry room, I'm wondering if this stacking is feasible given the depth difference. Would using a stacking kit make this possible? What's your advice?

Before you do anything, I’d reach out to the manufacturer directly. Personally, I’m not a fan of stacking since it complicates servicing either appliance. You definitely need a stacking kit to secure them together; otherwise, you might find your dryer crashing down unexpectedly.

In most markets, the dryer typically comes with brackets that are designed specifically for stacking, even for thinner depth machines. So, if you're using those correctly, you should be okay! Just to ease your mind, check the manual for your dryer — it often provides instructions that can help.
