I'm wondering if it's a good time to plant my garden or if there's still a danger of frost in the upcoming weeks. How do I know when it's truly safe to start?

It's probably not the best idea to plant just yet. A lot of folks are still seeing frost risk, especially in the next few weeks. Better to wait a bit longer!

Totally depends on where you live! Down on the South coast, I feel like we may have dodged the last frost, but it's still chilly in some spots. Keep an eye on your local weather!

Same here! Even on the South coast, I noticed some frost on rooftops early in the morning, so I'm being cautious.

In my experience, the last frost where I live usually hits in early May. If you're thinking about planting early this year, consider the long-range forecast. Just remember that cold winds from the north can be as harmful as frost itself! For added safety, covering your plants with fleece during frost warnings can help, but even that has its risks.
