Is it safe to use a 20-meter extension cord for my new TV?

Hey everyone! I'm getting an LG TV soon and I've picked up a 20-meter extension cord to use since I'm short on outlets in my room. Unfortunately, I have to run the extension along the wall, which might be a tripping hazard.

So I'm wondering, is it safe to use this 20-meter extension cord? Also, the specifications say "2C 10A 250V"—is that enough power for my TV, given that I want to make sure it's safe? Thanks!

Using a 20-meter extension cord is pretty common, and it should work just fine for your TV! The "2C 10A 250V" rating means the cord can handle up to 2500W, while your TV typically uses around 200 to 400W, so you’re good there. Just make sure to keep the cable safe and avoid crushing it. A tip: you might want to use gaffers tape to secure it to the floor and prevent any tripping hazards.

Totally! Just take care not to crush the cord or let heavy items drop on it. Other than that, it should be okay.
