Is It Safe to Use Grey Water with Epsom Salts for Plants?

Hey everyone! I'm curious about using grey water, especially since I've heard it's a great way to conserve water during droughts. However, I've been using Epsom bath salts in my baths, and I'm worried that might harm my plants if I use that grey water. I've also heard it's a bad idea to apply it to edible crops. I haven't started using grey water yet because I wanted to gather some advice first. Thanks!

Using Epsom salts shouldn't be a big deal as long as you mix it up and don't use it on the same plants all the time. Some gardeners even add Epsom salts to help with nutrient issues. But you're right about the edible crops—definitely steer clear of using grey water on those due to the risk of bacteria and contamination. Better safe than sorry!

Awesome! So for flowering plants and indoor greenery, grey water should be okay every now and then? I also use my axolotl tank water for my edible plants, but I'm not sure if that counts as grey water since it’s got live plants and filters.
