I've heard that coffee grounds can be a great addition to compost because they're rich in nitrogen. But I'm wondering if it's okay to use leftover cold coffee to water my houseplants. Will it help them or could it cause any problems?

It really depends on the type of plant you have. While coffee itself can be too strong in some cases, coffee grounds are definitely rich in nitrogen and beneficial for the soil. Just be cautious with how concentrated the coffee is when using it for watering!
I simply pour my leftover coffee on my grass. No problems so far, and it sounds like a good way to recycle! Just be mindful not to use it excessively.
I’ve got about half a cup of cold coffee left from my morning brew, and I usually just mix it with water before giving it to my indoor and outdoor plants. They've been thriving, and I haven't noticed any issues at all!
