Is it too late to replace my HVAC due to tariffs?

I'm planning to replace my HVAC system in May when the weather warms up, but I'm worried that tariffs could mess up my budget. If I place an order tomorrow, will the prices already reflect the tariffs, or do I still have some time before they kick in?

Keep in mind that May is a peak season for HVAC replacements because a lot of folks will discover their systems are broken. So the sooner you can get on it, the better your chances of getting a good deal and not having to wait around.

It's a good idea to start getting quotes now. Many shops might hype up tariff prices, but honestly, any equipment they have ready for installation in the next couple of months is likely already in the country and won’t be affected. I replaced my system last November, and it all worked out fine without tariff issues. Better to get ahead of it!

Yeah, sooner is definitely better! Just be upfront with the installer about your concerns regarding tariffs. They should be able to give you a clear answer on whether it’s going to affect your pricing.
