Is it weird to have an indoor garden if my neighbors can see it?

I live in a place where my neighbors are always peeking into my windows. If I have my blinds open and they see a large grow tent, would that be considered strange? I know people shouldn't be looking in, but with my nosy neighbors, I can't help but worry. I usually keep to myself and only have brief chats with people, so I'm wondering if I'm just overthinking this whole situation.

I had some bright grow lights that really caught my neighbors' attention a few years back. They even joked about me growing 'the devil's lettuce!' But really, I was just growing some buttercrunch lettuce for the family. Eventually, I moved my setup to the basement to keep it low-key. I say do what makes you happy without stressing about what others think!

Honestly, just do your thing! If you're enjoying your garden, that's all that matters. If people see it and have questions, that's on them, not you!

I don't use a grow tent, but I’ve had neighbors notice my grow lights for my indoor plants. One even asked if I was growing weed, half-jokingly I think! As my plants grew and matured, it became more obvious I was just into houseplants. If anyone thinks it's odd, worry less! Just enjoy your plants; they might just see you as a plant lover instead of something suspicious.
