I'm considering whether to invest in a paint sprayer for painting various doors in my home, including cabinet doors, closet doors, and bathroom doors. We have a shed and enough space in the garage for the project. I'll be using either Behr or Valspar satin paint. Do you think it's worth it to buy a sprayer? If yes, which type should I go for? Just a note: we don't have a compressor. Any advice would be appreciated!

Deciding to get a paint sprayer really depends on your approach. Personally, I find it easier to use a brush and roller for doors. Sprayers can be messy with cleanup, and overspray can be a hassle.
Also, about the paints you mentioned, Valspar had a great reputation but it seems it's hit-or-miss lately. Behr's high-end line is generally a safe bet, but it might not be worth the risk when you've got solid options like Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore.

Thanks for your perspective! I used to do all our painting myself, so I'm familiar with the prep work. We're looking at sprayers because we need to speed things up after a bad pro job. Do you have a recommendation for a sprayer or is rolling better in your opinion?
