Is It Worth Transplanting My Crape Myrtle in Zone 7a?

I'm looking for some advice about whether my Crape Myrtle can handle being transplanted and if it's worth the hassle, especially since I live in zone 7a. We're having some work done on our property and unfortunately, we need to remove this tree. If anyone has experience with transplanting one, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the process. Thanks!

Totally! Crape Myrtles are really beautiful trees, and they can handle being transplanted if you do it right.

How tricky would it be if I just want to move it about 30 feet? I might have access to a tree cart, but I really don’t know how big the root ball needs to be for this. Just watched a video and now thinking I might need a mini excavator for this!
