I'm looking for advice on Molly's Succulent Mix. I've checked the FAQ and soil guide and I understand that succulents thrive in well-draining soil, but I'm not entirely sure what qualifies as high-draining. I found this [Molly's Succulent Mix](https://www.amazon.ca/Mollys-Succulent-Mix-Soilless-Succulents/dp/B0C3YB42WG/ref=asc_df_B0C3YB42WG/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=706723877880&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7002112053115598897&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9001101&hvtargid=pla-2199727362919&mcid=337fae7e8995336eacfc70d265f2d359&gad_source=1&th=1) on Amazon but haven't seen much discussion about it. Other options like Bonsai Jack are way too expensive for me (seriously, $70 for a bag?!). I've heard mixed things about Miracle-Gro too, especially regarding potential fungus gnat larvae and needing to mix in perlite or pumice. The idea of juggling half-empty bags doesn't sound appealing. So, does anyone think Molly's Mix is a good option?

I think Molly's Mix should work pretty well for your succulents! My only concern would be the orchid bark it contains—succulents generally don’t like materials that decompose too quickly. But overall, it could be a solid choice!
I've been gradually using Molly's Mix for my plants and I've really been loving it! It's nearly impossible to overwater with this mix, which is a game changer for me. Just keep in mind you'll probably find yourself watering more often. Plus, it's cheaper to buy directly from their site since you can earn rewards too!
Good to know! I might have to check out their website then. Though, I just found out shipping costs a bit depending on where you are.
Molly's Mix has been my go-to for all my cacti and succulents. I used to struggle with overwatering, but this mix has been a lifesaver. It's so well-draining that I often have to submerge my plants in water just to get them hydrated again. I'd say go for it!
From what I've read in the ingredients and description, Molly's Mix sounds more suitable for succulents compared to some other brands. I think it’s definitely worth a try!

Yeah, the bark concern is valid. I mean, if it decomposes, it might hold too much moisture, which we want to avoid, right? But I'm noticing so many people rave about it!
