I'm having my bathroom remodeled, and my builder has just finished laying the floor tiles and grouting. I took a look and saw that some grout is smudging over the small black squares in this interwoven black and white porcelain tile pattern. Take a look at the picture here: [https://imgur.com/Cz0xyNg](https://imgur.com/Cz0xyNg). Does this look like a bad grouting job, and can it be fixed?

Honestly, it might not be as bad as you think! If the grout was just applied, they probably still need to clean off the haze that's leftover. You might want to give it a little more time before worrying too much. Just be sure to ask the builder about it!
From what you're describing, it seems like some of the grout could be easily scratched off, which is a good sign. It may just be a matter of cleaning up the finish. If it was just a few days ago, they should remedy it without too much hassle. Just keep an eye on it!
That’s true! Hopefully, it’s just a simple clean-up job. If it's more than just a haze, definitely bring it up with them.

I agree, give it a couple more days. But if the haze is really thick, you might want to push them to address it soon.
