Is My Cold-Weather Wood Glue Still Good?

I accidentally left a bottle of wood glue in my shed during this cold winter in the northeast US. I'm curious if it's still usable after being exposed to such low temperatures. Should I just toss it and buy a new one, or is it fine to use? What typically happens to wood glue when it gets cold?

I’ve had glue freeze before and contacted the manufacturer. They said it should survive a couple of freeze-thaw cycles. If it starts to separate, though, toss it!

Honestly, glue is pretty cheap. You might want to just pitch it and buy a new one. It’s not worth risking a failed project over a few bucks!

If your PVA glue freezes, it's usually no good anymore. But just being in cold weather shouldn't be an issue. Just keep an eye on it!

Thanks! I’ll take a look and see how it holds up and maybe give it a test run.
