I'm feeling a bit unsure about the installation of my curved shower curtain rod. Our contractor installed it, but I'm worried he might have done it wrong. The instructions didn't specify how far out the curved part should extend, and it seems to be screwed into glass tile, which adds to my concern. Am I being too picky here, or is there a proper way this should be installed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You should really post some pictures so we can take a look! It would help us give you better feedback on whether it’s set up right or not.
Before you jump to any conclusions, try hanging a standard shower curtain on that rod to see how it fits. Usually, shower curtains are a standard size, and unfortunately, there aren’t many options for wider ones that suit curved rods. If the rod is too far out or too high, the curtain might not even stay inside the tub properly, so definitely check that out first.
