Is My M12 Installation Driver Making Normal Noise?

I just purchased an M12 installation driver, and I'm noticing a rattling noise when I release the trigger. It sounds almost like something is winding down. When the motor isn't running, everything seems secure—no loose parts or vibrations. Is this noise something I should expect from this model, or is it a sign of a problem?

I had the same issue with mine! It's just a normal sound that some of these drivers make after the trigger is released. Even though it rattles a bit, it hasn't affected the driver’s performance at all for me. So, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Sounds like what I'm hearing with my own M12! I think it's just a common quirk. If it was a serious issue, they’d probably address it more officially. From what I’ve seen, most of these drivers make a similar noise.

Yeah, I've experienced that winding noise too. I got a replacement for mine because of that sound, and the new one doesn’t make it. But many users have said it's typical and not really a problem with performance. It sounds like a lot of us have encountered the same situation.
