I recently had the old wood skirting around my crawlspace removed and replaced with brick, and the encapsulation was completed this week. Honestly, I'm really upset because it looks terrible to me. I'm worried that this might need to be redone. Given that I live in a very rainy area (Gulf Shores), I'm concerned about whether the rainy weather could make this situation worse. Can someone please advise me on what I should do and what risks I might face if I leave it as is?

It's tough to say what's bothering you without seeing it, but from what you've described, it sounds like some cosmetic issues that could be fixed. The mortar splash at the top isn't a big deal and can often be cleaned up easily. If you're just not a fan of the red brick against your white painted walls, a fresh coat of paint could make all the difference!

Exactly! Once you paint over it, the whole look will change for the better.
