Hey everyone! I'm putting together a solar power system for my remote hunting shack and would love your feedback. My plan is to run four 100W 12V solar panels in parallel, all connected to a Victron Energy BlueSolar MPPT Solar Charge Controller that supports 100V and 30 amps, charging two 12V Eco-Worthy 280AH LiFePO4 batteries, also connected in parallel. I'm using 10 gauge wiring throughout the setup. Do you think this will work without overloading anything? I'm particularly worried about whether the charge controller and wiring are sufficient. Any tips or improvements you can suggest would be greatly appreciated! Let me know if you need more info!

It sounds like you’ve got a solid setup! However, for the battery wiring, I would recommend going with something larger than 10 gauge, just to be safe. Make sure to fuse everything properly with 10 gauge as close to the batteries as possible. This way, you minimize the risk of any overheating.
Since you mention the load isn't heavy—just a TV, phone, tablet, and hotspot—you should be fine with the controller and panel setup!
Got it! So, if I switch to 8 gauge for the wiring from the controller to the batteries, will that be better? Just making sure I get this right!
