Is My Table Saw Blade Normal If It’s Clipping the Insert?

I just got a table saw and while setting it up for the first time, I noticed that the blade seems to be clipping the insert. I'm pretty sure this isn't the way it's supposed to be, so I'm thinking maybe the blade needs some adjustments. Can anyone confirm if this is normal or if I should be worried?

It looks like you might have a zero clearance insert there. That can sometimes happen, especially if your blade is set too low. Just make sure everything is properly aligned; it might just be a minor adjustment!

Exactly! If that's a zero clearance insert, it's designed to snugly fit around the blade. Just check your alignment, and you should be good to go.

It depends on how the blade and insert are aligned. If it's clipping from the front or back, that might indicate a misalignment. Providing a picture would help others give better advice!
