I'm transforming my garage into a more inviting space, looking to create a workout area where I can hit golf balls into a net and maybe even set up a TV. The walls are a mix of drywall and bare concrete, and I'm considering whether to just paint the concrete walls the same color as the drywall to save some money. Drywalling would definitely look nicer, but it's also a lot more expensive. I'm also planning to put down an epoxy floor and add some rubber mats, but I'm really on the fence about the walls, since that could make or break my budget by a couple of thousand dollars. What do you think I should do?

Unless you really need insulation for winter months, painting over the concrete is a solid choice. It’ll give you a neat look without breaking the bank!
I just painted two concrete block walls in my basement for an office, and they look fantastic! Just make sure to use a good primer like Sherwin Loxon for best results. If you’re unsure, definitely try painting first—you might love it!
I say just paint the concrete walls and see how it turns out! It’s a lot cheaper and can still look nice if you use the right paint.

Totally agree! Priming is key, and it can really enhance the final outcome.
