I've got some kudzu seeds and I'm considering planting them in a small field between some flats in my neighborhood. I know kudzu is known for its rapid growth and capacity to outcompete other plants, but this field doesn't really have any other vegetation. Should I go for it? If yes, do you have any tips for planting it?

Please don’t plant kudzu! It’s illegal in many places and can cause significant harm to the environment. If you don’t know where you got the seeds, you might just want to safely dispose of them. Instead, think about some local alternatives that won’t wreak havoc on the ecosystem.
Honestly, planting kudzu is a terrible idea. It’s super invasive and tough to control, which can end up causing major ecological problems. Instead, consider planting some native plants that support local pollinators. They’ll be much better for your neighborhood!
You might as well throw the seeds in the air on a windy day! It wouldn’t be as bad as actually planting them. Seriously though, kudzu is a huge problem outside its native range. It can take over and smother other plants. Just don’t do it!
