Is Soil Blocking a Good Choice for Beginners?

I'm new to gardening and plan to start a small veggie garden from seeds this year. I've heard some good things about Soil Blocking versus using cell trays. Does anyone recommend Soil Blocking for a first-timer like me? I've read that it can help reduce problems during transplanting, but I'm worried it might be too complex for someone without experience. Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

I'd definitely suggest sticking with reusable seed trays to start. I've lost quite a few seedlings in soil blocks because they dry out really quickly. Even while working from home and keeping an eye on them, it was tough. Seed trays seem more forgiving for beginners!

That's great advice! Maybe I'll try seed trays first and then consider switching to soil blocking later when I feel more comfortable. I find the whole soil blocking method a bit overwhelming.
